Landlord/Estate Agent Tracing Cases

A large part of our business consists of conducting traces. We are instructed by a wide number of clients and one sector that uses our services are Landlords and Estate Agents to locate absconded tenants. There are many individuals that rent properties and leave prior to clearing their rent arrears.

A recent case involved one of our regular clients who has a large portfolio in London contacted us to trace a tenant that owed them a considerable amount of money and had moved out of the property without any prior notification or agreement.  Our researches got to work and located the individual in Northern England, I am sure the tenant thought moving out of the area would mean he wouldn’t be traceable, unfortunately for him and thankfully for our client he was traced within 48 hours and our client is now going down the legal channel to retrieved outstanding rent owed!
